Coralia

A word from Dom :  "A new beauty in Indonesian waters, Coralia slots nicely into the upper tier of Phinisi dive liveaboards.  She was built and is run by Papua Explorers who have owned a top dive resort in Raja Ampat for a number of years and bring experience and know-how to this fabulous new boat....."   Dominick Macan

SAIL IN A TRADITIONAL, REFINED PHINISI

Blending tradition with modern design, Coralia is one of the few Phinisi equipped with two engines, which translates to greater safety. Nice to know, also, that the owners are deeply committed to the people of the region and to sustainable tourism.

Coralia's decks are spacious and offer plenty of spots to enjoy the view, dine, sunbathe or simply relax.  The top deck is a designated massage area & sun deck while on both the main and upper decks you'll find leisure areas with plenty of cozy sofas and loungers.  If you prefer to cool down a bit, the large, air-conditioned lounge and restaurant on the main deck fit the bill. Here you will also find a library and audio/video entertainment.  The 8 spacious air-conditioned cabins offer environmentally-friendly natural soaps, a sofa, a desk, a safe and charging stations.  The four luxurious master cabins each feature a large private balcony, sun chair and outside sofa.

The plentiful meals include international cuisine.  Vegan and vegetarian options are available.  Dinner is served sometimes a la carte, sometimes buffet style, and once per cruise there will be a barbeque night.  You'll find a selection of beer, wines and spirits available onboard for an extra cost.

The shaded dive deck has warm showers, a changing room, hangers, equipment storage and extra towels are provided for diving.  Underwater photographers will appreciate the dedicated air-conditioned, well-lit camera room on the main deck, providing individual camera stations for charging. The dive deck features a rinsing basket for cameras, as well as a camera table.

Shore visits are included on certain itineraries and kayaks and paddleboards will be available for you to explore the surroundings.

    Itineraries overview:

Banda Sea, Alor - In Alor & the Banda Sea, you'll find clear waters full of masses of fish & loads of invertebrates ... plus alluring critters.  As to topography, you'll find shear drops, huge pinnacles, great walls  ... all covered with rich & thriving corals which attract diverse fish life.  Add to that, visiting pelagics and you have a magical mix.

Komodo - perhaps the most diverse of all diving in the Indonesian archipelago.  There are seamounts, walls, canyons and pinnacles as well as the spectacular coral gardens.  There a hot spring at an underwater volcano, great night dives on black sand slopes with creepy, crawly critters.  Numerous sites tout pelagic fish, sharks & mantas but, be assured that at each dive site, you'll experience something different.

Raja Ampat -  Indonesia's shining underwater jewel, Raja Ampat has something of nearly everything a diver could want.  You’ll dive channels, plateaus, walls & caves … and just plain mud, for the delight of “muck” diving.  You'll swim amongst great swirls of fish and feast your eyes on sponges & corals in scintillating colors. You’ll meet up close & personal, everything from pygmy seahorses to colossal manta rays.
